One of the most highly anticipated animated movies from Pixar is The Incredibles 2. Fans of the first film have been anxious to find out what happens next to the superhero family, as the movie ends with a cliffhanger when The Underminer attacks the city and the Parr family swings into action. Thankfully, Disney’s D23 Expo is just around the corner. In this convention, fans can attend to get the inside look at what is to come from the Walt Disney Company, from video games to movies, series or any sort of entertainment. Luckily, fans don’t have to wait much longer to get an inside look at the Pixar sequel.
The D23 Expo app just released a concept art for The Incredibles 2. In this, the art style from the first movie remains the same. The logo for the sequel is in the center, and below it is the Parr family in action with Frozone. There’s also our “dahling” Edna Mode, Mr. Incredible’s car, and even The Underminer’s drilling machine (as scene at the end of the first film). It also looks like there is to be more superheroes in the film, as they can be seen on both sides of the film’s logo.
The app also confirmed that director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant) will be attending the panel with producer Nicole Paradis Grindle and John Walker. No plot detail have been released yet, but it is expected that the Pixar panel will give fans at least a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel.
The Incredibles 2 is expected to be in theaters in 2018.
