Daring To Bite: Charlie Cox Wants Black Widow To Crawl Onto Netflix

Much like how the cinematic level of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to culminate in the upcoming Avengers films, the Netflix shows will do so in the The Defenders. Despite all this, none of the characters from either have bled into the others world. Finally, the actor who portrays one of our more grounded heroes, Charlie Cox, said in an interview with SensaCine he wants one character in particular to fight alongside him:

“Matt Murdock in the Marvel Universe dated Black Widow, so I think we should get Scarlett Johansson on board.”

Just how distant these two characters are in the MCU makes such an encounter not as possible as fans, even Cox, would like. Even though, according to the D23 footage, Natasha will be on the run in Avengers: Infinity War, it isn’t totally impossible the universe could be bent back to normality after the conflict over the Infinity Gauntlet.

When it comes to dating, we haven’t seen Widow romantically involved since Avengers: Age of Ultron with Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Fans of the character that I know didn’t take well to her being in a relationship. In my opinion, a friendship like the one depicted in Captain America: The Winter Solider could work well between Matt and Natasha.

Speaking of Hulk, Finn Jones, Daniel Rand/Iron Fist himself, wants Mark Rufallo to come to Netflix. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen Hulk fight street-level and on a series. It would be something akin to or even better than 1978’s The Incredible Hulk would be, well, incredible!

Do you think they’ll make it to Netflix? Who else would you want to see? Let us know and and follow us @GeekMotivation on Twitter for more news like this.
