Writer Mark Millar To Make Kick-Ass And Hit-Girl Announcement

With the big success of Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass (2010) and its 2013 sequel doing so-so, comic book writer (Civil War, Kingsman, Wanted) took to Twitter to tease an announcement later this week pertaining to the titular character and his partner-in-crime, Hit-Girl. Check his tweets down below:

From what can be extrapolated by the writer’s pictures of the characters’ film actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloë Grace Moretz, this could perhaps be a third film to conclude the story. On the other hand, this could also likely be another story in the comic book lore.

What do you think of this? Are you excited about this announcement? Let us know!

Kick-Ass centers around a teenager named David “Dave” Lizewski who is fascinated by comic books and superheroes. This prompts him to become the world’s first, real-life superhero. He joins forces with a girl named Mindy and gets other followers along the way. Things don’t go as expected, and what transpires afterward is a plethora of hilarity, tragedy, and violence.
