All of the DCEU films so far gave a nod to previous films one way or another. And now as we get closer to the release to the Justice League, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher decided to share some easter eggs to their characters which can be found in other films released so far.
In an interview with DC All Access, Ray Fisher shared a little easter egg that reference his character in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here’s what he said:
“I think the beautiful thing is the connectivity. Because if you look at Batman v Superman, when Gotham City University is getting destroyed by Metropolis 50 to nothing. If you track it back timeline wise, that would have been just around the time Victor Stone, who was their all-star quarterback, got into his accident and was no longer able to be a part of the team.”
Jason Momoa also dropped an easter egg of his own, which confirms a long-held fan theory about Man Of Steel! He said:
“I’ll give you a cool little thing that’s not in this movie, but that Zack told me for ‘Aquaman.’ In ‘Man of Steel’ when Henry is saving the oil rig and he’s holding that up, and all of a sudden he kind of floats up on the ocean, he’s like ‘I had Aquaman save him so that they did cross paths at one point.’ So then when Bruce goes ‘You ever heard of… Superman?’ I have met him and we have crossed paths.”
So it is official now that Aquaman has appeared in this scene and saved Clark. Personally I always believed this theory and I’m glad it’s officially confirmed now.
What do you think? Do you have anymore theories regarding the previous DC films? Let us know!
Justice League will be released on November 17.
